The profile I choose is CHEF AND RESTAURATEUR. The profile was about how Laura had a tough time when finding a job do to her blindness. While reading the profile I learned that people did not hire her just because of her disability, but she never gave up. Ive always wondered if there are rules or anything to help a person with disabilities to get a job. I learned that the ADA only protects you when have a disability defined by the law, and when the employer has coverage for them. I learned “The ADA doesn’t require employers to hire applicants with disabilities. Instead, it prohibits discrimination against qualified applicants with disabilities. As long as you are qualified for the job, an employer can’t decide not to hire you simply because you have a disability.”

The theme I’ve seen in every profile in inspiration. Laura never gave up on what she wanted she kept looking for the chef job, even after that she never gave up on looking for a job. I know someone personally who works where I do with a disability. I am glad the company I work for has given him a chance to work even though it is very hard for him and he can only work so many days in a row.
i think important to be inspired by something and to always want to do better at it. I also really enjoyed reading this story.
